Contracts Analyst

2.Daily contact with field offices on questions and information needed for Certificate Production.
3.Draft legally correct contract language
4.Maintain a minimum accuracy of 98%.
5.Manage your own proof inventory.
6.Work on special projects as needed.
7.Coordinate with Compliance Analysts and Underwriters on non-standard certificates.
8.Provide Six Sigma customer service
9.Meet deadlines and work goals in accurate and timely mannerBasic Qualifications:
1.Strong skill in comprehending, analyzing, comparing and retaining technical information. 2.Knowledge of group insurance products.
3.Knowledge of contract law, legislation, group operations and workflows.
4.Skill in data entry; PC proficiency in Microsoft Office
5.Strong verbal, written, interpersonal skills to communicate decisions and interact effectively with customers, home office & field staff
6.Excellent organization skills for managing/prioritizing own work in response to team needs.
7.Ability to work effectively in a team environment
8.Ability to complete large volumes of technical work within departmental time constraints.
9.Ability to change priorities on short notice while maintaining current workload.Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
Paralegal certification or related training
Prior successful experience working with insurance contracts
Experience in drafting legally correct contract language
Ability and experience in training and conveying technical material; making decisions; analyzing problems; and recommending solutions
