Claim Processor (Auto Claim Central)
Location: Irvine, CA
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
* Excellent customer service a must!
* Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean a plus
* Ability to multi-task and function effectively in a high production environment
* Effective verbal and written communication skills required
* Ability to operate computer terminals/PC equipment to create, review, enter, and change data
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office a plus
* Previous call center experience desired
REQUIREMENTS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Learn & utilize terminology, regarding auto parts, auto body repair, medical procedures and anatomical terminology
* Apply knowledge of state laws and regulations pertaining to the insurance industry as trained.
* Communicate by telephone and in writing with our automobile policyholders, claimants, other parties on a regular basis.
* Review, process and settle applicable routine first-party injury claims within authorized limits.
* Review, process and settle routine auto property damage liability, and material damage claims as directed.
* Recognize claims which are beyond scope of authority and take appropriate actions.
* Multiple shifts available. Hours of Operation are 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. M-F; 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Sa-Su; most holidays. Shift flexibility required, with advance notice of schedule changes. Standard work hours are approximately 40 hours per week, some overtime available.
