PC Technician

This position will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and minor networking issues for end users in a Microsoft Windows environment. Additionally, the position will provide desktop and phone support for local and remote users. Additional responsibilities will eventually include assistance with special projects and datacenter administration. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional technical skill set in addition to solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
REQUIREMENTS
Duties and Responsibilities
•Perform software and hardware installations, configurations and troubleshooting on desktops and laptops
•Respond to and resolve daily technical problems in a professional and timely manner. Track and monitor trouble ticket submissions to ensure a timely and effective solution
•Support remote users and users in branch offices
•Ensure consistent level of end user support across the organization

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
•Associates Degree or better in an applicable field of study
•One year of experience in PC Technician and/or Help Desk role
•Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills with a strong desire to help users
•Experience working with Microsoft operating systems and Office applications
•Excellent understanding of PC and peripheral technologies
•MCDST or A+ Certification a plus
