Outside Sales Executive- Fire Systems - La Palma, CA

This position is responsible for selling Honeywell HVAC products and installations to mid-size and large businesses in the La Palma area.  This is an opportunity to grow your own territory, build your business.

HBS is seeking an Installation Account Representative who will be responsible for selling HBS products, services and installation contracts to commercial accounts. This individual will ensure the achievement of an annual sales plan by utilizing HBS sales strategies and disciplines to capitalize on qualified sales opportunities and build long term relationships with our customers.

As an Account Executive you will sell Honeywell’s fire and security offerings through owners and contractors of Mid-size to Large business.

 

Position Summary:

Jointly develop solutions for customers with Life Safety and Security systems

Obtains contract prices that support local financial objectives by conducting thorough site surveys, consulting with site technicians as appropriate, generate accurate estimates through the application of standard estimating and pricing practices and provide comprehensive solution proposals

Analyze projects to develop strategy for technical and specification superiority to successfully win competitive bid projects

Contribute to the attainment of key local financial goals through the achievement of an annual sales plan

Actively call on contractors and consultants to increase Honeywell’s profile in the local market

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Demonstrates a proficient working knowledge in implementing the selling cycle from identifying and qualifying prospects to successfully closing the sale

Able to develop and execute business plans for attacking new customers to grow the existing customer base

Must be comfortable at developing relationships senior levels of management

Sales experience in establishing major account plans, development of additional business and advancing account penetration with large customers

Strategic sales experience focused on creating value through improved business outcomesJob Requirements

Basic Qualifications:


3-5 years experience in selling Fire Alarm Systems or Security Systems with an emphasis on selling life safety retrofit and new construction projects.


Travel: 10%max


Must be able to pass background check and drug screen




Computer skills

Additional Qualifications:


3+ years of industry experience with four years degree preferred.


Excellent oral and written communication skills


Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communications skills.


Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels.
