Modern Business Machines is looking for a talented Network Support / Programmer to join their team.Job Description:
General network support including maintenance of back-up routines, performance monitoring and desktop support including application maintenance and new client configuration.
Database management in conjunction support of NextGen.
Application development and maintenance using ASP.Net, Visual Studio.NET and Visual C# as a development tool.
Report development and maintenance using Crystal Reports as a development tool.Job Duties
Provides general support services to all MBM LAN clients.
-Performs user account management – adds, deletes, and changes.-Monitors server and workstation logs and network to verify and check for errors.
-Recommend enhancements for optimal system operation.
-Provides end-user application support.-Installs and configures workstations, laptops, printers.
Develop applications, website and pages
Provides planning assistance and is solely responsible for execution and maintenance of assigned application development projects.Modern Business Machines is a 50 year old Appleton-based company that supplies and services document imaging equipment and added-value software to meet document creation, distribution, and storage needs throughout Northeastern Wisconsin. REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and Skill Required:
Minimum of 1 year experience is preferred yet not required.
Excellent customer support skills. Effective project management.
MS-SQL configuration, backup and maintenance. MS Windows Server and Desktop OS setup, configuration and troubleshooting.
Demonstrated experience in application development and project completion using proscribed development tools (Visual C#, Crystal Reports, MS-SQL). Ability to effectively estimate the effort required to deliver required results and to correctly set expectations
