Manufacturing Maintenance Technician 2nd shift

SUMMARY Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines,
motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and
equipment by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.
Job Requirements
1) Performs preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment
including but not limited to: pick-n-place (SMT) equipment, Air Convection
Ovens, Inspection Equipment, PLC Conveyors, x-ray, Ultrasonic Welders,
Labelers and Automated Screen Printers according to manufacturer’s spec /
Manufacturing Engineering work instructions based on a regularly set
schedule.

2) Reads electrical schematics, diagrams, manuals and handbooks as
required.

3) Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to
locate causes of trouble.

4) Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

5) Examines form and consistency of parts to detect imperfections.

6) Repairs or replaces defective parts and performs calibration on
manufacturing equipment.

7) Lubricates and cleans parts.

8) Starts a device to test its performance.

9) Sets up and operates drill press, grinder, and other metal working tools
to make and repair parts.

10) Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.

11) Maintains safe and clean working area and environment by complying with
procedures, rules, laws, and regulations.

12) Responsible for following the companies safety and ESD regulations at
all times.
