Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative Maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, vehicles, and grounds. This employee works independently to ensure that production processes and facilities are well maintained and fully reliable.
REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or GED, a minimum of six years maintenance experience. Training in mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and/or plumbing maintenance and welding is required. Technical training in refrigeration, boiler maintenance, and/or electricity is preferred.
Certification in refrigeration or the ability to operate high pressure boilers and exhibit demonstrated knowledge in area of certification.
Must be able to read blue prints and piping specifications and install utility piping systems from the prints.
Must be able to troubleshot, repair, and install air compressors, vacuum systems, all types of pumps and seals, 24, 120, 208, 277, and 460 volt electrical systems in non-rated and rated areas, using the National Electrical Codes.
