Industrial Maintenance Electrician

We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician Technician for our Glass Mat Plant, located in Shafter, CA. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this individual will be responsible for troubleshooting all electrical plant systems.

We’re looking for a self-directed individual with a background in continuous process manufacturing. This individual will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for the following:
•Maintaining plant electrical systems to maximize machine uptime
•Troubleshooting process controls systems, electrical systems, & mechanical systems
•Reading electrical schematics
•Calibrating process instrumentation
•Performing preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical equipment
•Bending conduit & running wire
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a 4+ years experience with industrial electrical & process control systems.

Additional desired qualifications include:
•Experience with up to 480 volt, Allen Bradley PLC’s, & variable frequency drives
•Understanding of Process Controls, PID loops, & PLC ladder logic
•Knowledge of Industrial Power Distribution Systems
•Skilled in using meters, test equipment, & hand tools
•Experience with precision alignment
•Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Maximo a plus
•Focused on safe work practices
•Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
•Ability and desire to grow into an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician role
