The Implementation Specialist works collaboratively with MAI Project Management, Customer Support, Field Service and customer project teams to ensure the successful installation, implementation and use of automated solutions for the storage, dispensing and tracking of prescription medications in the inpatient nursing unit environment. Coordinates on-site installation and implementation of new products, add-on products and upgrades. Installs product in customer designated location. Obtains signed product Acceptance Certificate. Brings product live and troubleshoots if necessary. Removes and replaces failing product components as required. Trains customer SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and end-users in the proper use of MAI products and services. Trains customer SMEs in first-line product support and troubleshooting. Provides additional product-related training and support as requested. Assists in the development of training materials and programs. Promotes and optimizes customer product ownership, satisfaction and clinical integration through efficient and effective product installation and implementation; consistent delivery of effective product training; customer accountability for data integrity and product use procedures; timely customer product and service feedback to MAI Project Management. Places equipment and/or product orders as necessary, including completion of required documentation. Adheres to all applicable health and safety regulations and procedures. Maintains fiscal responsibility for business expenses associated with Company-issued credit card.Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred; or Associate Degree in electronics and/or electromechanical technology plus a minimum of three (3) years related work experience; or, in lieu of post-high school education minimum of seven (7) years related work experience or product knowledge. Information System user and/or implementation experience preferred. Relational database/system development information systems experience of course work preferred. Demonstrated training, presentation and customer service skills. Demonstrated organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications and problem-solving skills. Minimum one year experience in a vendor, customer service, field service, and/or hospital setting preferred.Position offers approximately 80% overnight regional/national travel. Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting up to 185 lbs, with assistance; pushing and maneuvering cabinets, up to 850 lbs, on hard or carpeted floors, over thresholds and uneven flooring.Additional Knowledge & Skills

Working knowledge of computer hardware, PC Windows and Microsoft operating systems (Windows NT, 95, 98, 2000, and DOS commands) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Basic networking skills. Technical knowledge of the following software: SQL Server 6.5, SMS, PC Anywhere, Windows NT Server, Windows NT Workstation preferred.McKesson Statement
