Field Service Technician

Niro Inc., est. in 1974, is a full-service company offering engineering, systems, and solutions for powder and liquid processing.

We are looking for a self-motivated, service minded, mechanically adept Field Service Technician located in Central CA to travel primarily to our CA customer locations to troubleshoot, repair, and/or maintain our equipment. Essentials functions include:

· Analyze and evaluate equipment performance.

· Perform direct maintenance on demand to resolve existing, complex equipment problems.

· Perform preventive maintenance during service visit to ensure continued machine performance.

· Install and remove equipment.

· Establish and maintain positive and effective customer relationships.

· Respond to customer questions regarding equipment operation and technical trouble shooting in order to reduce downtime.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidate will have the following desired qualifications:


· Must have proven analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills.

· Computer literate, (word processing, excel spreadsheet).

· 2 – 3 years experience in PLC programming/troubleshooting.

· 2 year vocational degree in related mechanical/electical field or equivalent work experience.

· Ability to work independently.

· Self motivated.

· Must be able to travel as job assignments require.
