UNIX System Administrator

COMSYS is looking for a Unix System Administrator for a 7 month contract position. The position will deal with the conversation of a legacy NIS environment to UnixSecure – an Active Directory Kerberos based Secure Single Sign On solution for multiple UNIX platforms. There will also be various patch maintenance and daily basic UNIX administration duties on multiple UNIX platforms. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, enthusiastic, have good communication skills and a proven ability to provide great customer service and technical support. We need a self driven person who is able to work well within a team environment. The candidate should be prepared to work on an Oracle database and have experience with SQL and Java.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
1. Systems Administration experience (including strong shell scripting capability) on Solaris 8 and/or AIX 5.x
2. Experience with NIS authentication on UNIX
3. Experience with local and PAM authentication on two or more of the following: Solaris, Linux, HP-UX and AIX
4. Experience supporting OpenSSH
