Technical Support Specialist

Headquartered in San Jose, California, Sanmina-SCI is a leading EMS provider focused on delivering complete end-to-end manufacturing capabilities and highly complex solutions to technology companies around the world.Provides day to day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a heteogenious environment. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. Communicates highly tecnical infromation to both technical and non-technical personnel. Recommends hardware and software solutions including new acquisitions and upgrades. may participat indevelopment of information technology and infrastructure projects. May conduct training programs designed to educate an organization's computer users about basic and specialized applications. Duties to include on site technical support person for Telecom, handle cross connects building to building, basic voicemail adminstration. Support various IT projects for Plant site as directed by IT Manager. Utilizing IT Global Helpdesk Trouble Ticket system for all IT related services.Job Requirements
