Technical Publication Specialist

Technical Publication Specialist is responsible for creating documents and labels by combining graphics and content using desktop publishing software according to company/department standards. In addition specialist will also revise documents per requests, and create and revise graphics, according to company/department standards.This position will also work together with manager and team to improve usability and quality of documentation, and contribute in new product development meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate must posses Associate’s degree from two-year college or university in arts or related field. Minimum two years related experience, and possess knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design. Candidate must also have in-depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Quark Express on a Mac platform; and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop. Experience with localization projects and software preferred. Candidate must demonstrate attention to detail, extreme organization, excellent time management, strong sense of deadlines, and professionalism. In addition strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with a wide range of individuals is a must.
