DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As part of the Information Technology (IT) at Arizona State University at the West campus' Learning Space Services (LSS) team, is responsible for maintaining computer systems in classrooms & labs & assisting faulty in their use. Effectively works on, & occasionally leads technology project teams in a collaborative environment. Occasional weekend & night hours may be involved. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in technology or related field AND two years experience providing information technology services; OR, Six years experience providing information technology services. Certificates from recognized programs that indicate mastery of tools & techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six months of experience. OR, any equivalent combination of education &/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills & abilities have been achieved.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience installing, maintaining, & troubleshooting Windows XP in a shared use computing environment. Experience working with disk imaging technologies. Experience working on technology project teams in a collaborative environment. Experience installing, maintaining, & troubleshooting Macintosh OS X in a shared use computing environment. Experience installing, maintaining, & troubleshooting computer hardware.
