Program Analyst III

Perform a wide range of technical functions including installations, upgrades, migrations, and patches of the Clarity software; technical configuration; and data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Develop interfaces between Clarity and other applications; define custom fields and tables in the Clarity database; develop Clarity portlets; develop stored procedures against the Clarity database for customer-specific functionality; conduct performance testing and optimization; and analyze complex customer issues involving data, hardware, software, and network.

Provide application support to Clarity installations including troubleshooting issues, maintenance of systems, planning for OS/DB upgrades/patches, end user assistance, training, application administration etc.


Job Duties:
-Convert customer business requirements into functional requirements and technical design specifications
-Design and build integrated Clarity solutions that meet functional requirements and technical specifications
-Configure, develop, test, and deploy Clarity solutions using Clarity's application toolset (XOG, PowerMods, Xtensible Data Model, Business Process Manager, Clarity Studio, Actuate Developer and other database and web technologies
-Create /modify stored procedures against the Clarity database for specific functionality
-Support Clarity application to include, perform installations, upgrades, migrations, and patches of the Clarity software
-Analyze and solve complex issues involving data, hardware, software, and network
REQUIREMENTS
-Ability to understand customer business problems and clearly formulate and articulate software solutions to solve those problems
-4+ years Clarity/Niku technical application design and development experience using the Clarity application toolset (XOG, Xtensible Data Model, Business Process Manager, Clarity Studio)
-Experience writing reports (Actuate preferred), creating custom attributes, objects, lookups, views and processes; performing administrative configuration for Clarity/Niku (i.e., creating users, groups, OBS, etc.), and developing custom portlets using Clarity Studio
-Knowledge of operating systems (Windows) including the ability to create/modify batch files and shell scripts
-Strong knowledge of databases and database programming (SQL Server 2000/2005)
-Development scripting experience with Java, HTML, XML, .NET
-Knowledge of general networking and security procedures, performance testing and optimization (Preferred)
