Operations Manager 4

Directs the vision, strategic plans, workflow prioritization, and management of the Management Sciences and Analytics (MSA) team, as part of the Project management / Analytics department. Serves as interface and liaison to Servicing management for analytical, operations strategy, future state reporting environments, and reporting processes, the core functions of the MSA team. Coaches, mentors and trains both senior analysts within MSA, as well as providing guidance, ad hoc analytical support and best practices standards for various groups within CCG. Position conducts some complex analysis and modeling as required by business priorities. MSA team process scope includes importation strategies, decision modeling, data envelope analysis, discrete simulation, sensitivity analysis, operational forecasting, analytical and operational reporting (ColdFusion), web development, employee incentive plan development and deployment, and development of general collections strategies.Responsible for the management of a team of 9 technical professionals focused on business process reengineering, operations research, decision analysis (development, validation and implementation of scoring models), and analytical reporting. Manages two supervisory positions within the team. Evaluates business processes to determine quantitative risks and strategic opportunities to improve cost to service, customer management profitability results, and collections delinquency and loss rates. Provides direction and training of direct reports and two-down staff comprising the Management Sciences & Analytics (MSA) team,. Works directly with managers and senior managers to direct resources to analytical and reporting initiatives via MSARTA, an internally developed and Wells Fargo system standards-compliant ColdFusion request tracking application.
Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum Qualifications:o 7-9 years, including 4-6 years in management
o MS Office, all major modules: Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Word,
Publisher
o Working knowledge of statistical methods
o Working knowledge of data base architecture tradeoffs and technical
considerations
o Web-based publishing knowledge including programming data structures and
web development
o Demonstrated experience in project management tools and methodologies
o 4 years of college or equivalent
* Preferred Skills:o Management of technical professionals.
o Presentation skills (ability to present to senior management),
o Advanced statistical analysis (including multivariate analysis, non-parametric
analysis and statistical quality control)
o Operations research / management science
o Simulation modeling of business processes
o Collections and/or Financial Banking knowledge
o Masters Degree or Above
