The Public Sector Security Solutions Group is seeking a mid-level Information Security Analyst to perform security assessments for federal government clients, in order to promote agency compliance with various governmental regulations, primarily FISMA and OMB A-130. The position requires the ability to leverage more technically focused personnel into an assessment of both application and general support system security.The candidate will possess a high level understanding of application and hardware architecture so as to efficaciously apply the principles of Information Assurance to various information systems. The candidate will have had prior experience working with a wide variety of technologies, be well versed in the current state of Information Security, and be able to interpret the requirements of relevant governing bodies (NIST, OMB, GAO, etc).The ideal candidate will have prior experience performing full scope Risk Management processes for a federal client, to include Certification and Accreditation (C&A), FISMA Self Assessments, Technical Assessments (Vulnerability analysis, penetration testing), and Risk Assessments. A strong understanding of how to apply the principles of Information Security in a variety of circumstances is a must.Responsibilities:
Review and analysis existing C&A packages for completeness and compliance to NIST C&A guidance
Develop System security plans, Disaster Recovery plans, Contingency plans, Interconnection Security Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding
Perform system categorization, system test and evaluation
Perform security configuration reviews
Perform risk assessments
Participate in client interviews as part of the risk assessment, system categorization and security test and evaluation processesRequirements:
Minimum 3 years of C&A Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience with information security and application architecture

Familiarity with security appliances
