Implementation Project Manager

Purpose: Our client, a leader in their industry is currently seeking a Technical Implementation Project Manager for their 6 month right to hire position (would go perm with the client after the initial 6 months) in Birmingham, AL.

The chosen candidate will take the project from completion of funding all the way through implementation and then escalate the project to production support. After the implementations, they would only come back into the project as a subject matter expert.

Qualified candidates will have a strong programming background and have an understanding of web and open systems technologies. The candidate
should have also have general Project Management experience as well and have managed complex projects with open systems, databases and internet or customer facing technologies. Data security knowledge is a plus but is not required. Candidates should additionally have experience dealing with project financials including budgets and timelines.

Most work will be performed on-site in Birmingham, AL and some overtime will be required. A typical work week is 40-50 hours. Overtime hours can be performed remotely in most cases. Candidates local to Birmingham are highly encouraged to apply!
