Short Description:
Data Specialist is responsible for analyzing/reconciling data and creating/maintaining MS Access Database.

Complete Description:
Successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
' Must have ability to identify relevant data in order to perform analysis that will identify specific equipment attributes such as PO#, original installation date, work order #, etc
' Must be able to ensure and maintain data integrity while performing database analysis
' Must be able to extract data from enterprise query tools in order to create MS Access databases for custom reporting
' Must be able to create, modify and maintain MS Access databases and develop customer report formats to meet user and executive requirements
' Must be able to structure analysis and develop supporting data requirements based on descriptions provided by business owners
' Must be able to validate data element for fit with analytical approach
' Must be able to develop and validate reasonable assumptions in order to compensate for data that is not available
' Must be able to distill complex analysis into structured summaries for business decision making

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field and minimum of 2 to 4 years of working experience

Behavior Characteristics:
Detail-oriented. Excellent communication skills. Self-motivated, analytical, strong database skills and ability to work independently. Good organizational skills. Accuracy a must.
