DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Web and Database team seeks an individual who is self-motivated, demonstrates leadership skills and works well in a team environment. Primary responsibilities of the position are to design, plan, analyze and implement requirements of major database improvements and enhancements for the W. P Carey School of Business. Perform development and maintenance of the MS SQL enterprise database. Plan, create and implement relational database structures. Create, review and edit stored procedures that interface with ColdFusion web pages. Create and edit queries for end users to the MS SQL enterprise database using MS Access, MS Excel and SQL tools. Support and interact with faculty and staff using database technology for research, instruction and business processes.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree in technology or related field and two (2) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Six (6) years experience providing information technology services; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Evidence of a degree in Computer Information Systems; Experience with systems and/or applications programming; Experience providing database support services; Experience with enterprise-wide database programming i.e. Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL; Experience performing needs assessment, database design for enterprise-wide database needs; Experience with Data Transformation Services; creating and editing Stored Procedures; creating MS SQL views and connecting (i.e. ODBC) servers to clients; Experience in writing MS Access, MS Excel queries to a MS SQL Database; Experience with MS SQL working with ColdFusion web pages; Experience in organizing and overseeing projects. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
