Computer Operator

Purpose: Teksystems has a 6 month contract to hire opportunity in Chandler for a Computer Operator. This person's role is to observe and control the company?s midrange and enterprise computer systems and peripheral equipment. This includes monitoring system consoles as well as providing help desk support. This involves providing real time problem solving for desktop, network, remote access and data access issues.

The hours for his position will be Saturday and Sunday from 8:00pm -8:00am and Thursday and Friday from 11:00am - 8:00 pm.


Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in operation of midrange or mainframe hardware, software and standards, as well as data analysis and processing methodologies and database applications is required. As well as extensive practical knowledge of data input and output procedures, job control processes and system backup protocols. Also extensive experience with core software applications, including Microsoft Office, Web Applications, system monitoring applications and general networking applications and operations.Classification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
