Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Cerner Clinical Systems Support Supervisor to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.Job Responsibilities:
Perot Systems is in search of a Clinical Systems Lead for our Cerner Team, to support one of our largest healthcare accounts. This is a supervisory role working with the Manager of the team. The person in this position would be the queue manager and make sure that the day to day activities are assigned and successfully executed.The Clinical Systems Lead will be responsible for overseeing the operation of personnel, activities, projects, and issues from the client, escalating as needed. Supervising, coordinating, reviewing and evaluating the work of the support staff; coordinating with Team Manager in addressing operational and administrative needs; assisting in coordination between vendors and staff.This position will report to the Manager for Cerner Clinical Applications, and does require on-call support. We use a 24x7 call rotation.The Clinical Systems Lead role is a working supervisor who will be a member of the support team..Required Skills:
Knowledge of healthcare on the provider side and strong leadership and qualities are required
Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment is required
Needs at least 3 to 5 years experience with Clinical Application Support...preferably Cerner experience
Effective oral and written communication skills are required
Clinical Healthcare Experience
Leadership skills, people management
Strong Analytical SkillsDesired Skills:
Previous hospital experience and knowledge healthcare flow process
Clinical system support experience preferred especially Cerner Applications
Ability to lead a team of 10-15 associates
Experience in managing projects, processes, and staff with a strong results orientation including supervising and motivating staff with diverse skill levels
Directing and coordinating the priorities of staff engaged in complex activities and projects
Delegating responsibilities effectively
Ability to quickly and accurately analyze information and interpret data to make timely decisions
Providing guidance in crisis situations
Experience and interest in team-building, strategic planning, organizational development, and/or performance management
Develop an effective working relationship with all levels within Perot, client and vendorsMinimum Educational Requirements:
