Business Analyst (ERP)

Purpose: Our client in the Irvine area is looking for a mid-Level Business Analyst.

Candidate must have 3+ yeas working as a Business Analyst doing process re-engineering/ERP implementation / support in a complex business environment. Candidate must have strong knowledge of business processes and the events that generate financial transactions. Oracle experience is desirable but PeopleSoft or SAP is acceptable.

Excellent communication skills: written and oral. Must be able to present and communicate to all levels of management. Candidate must have strong presentation skills.

Description: Identify and define opportunities for business process
improvements to support existing legacy (Epicor and MLM/Pick systems) and new ERP system (Oracle). Candidate will be responsible for identifying, documenting and maintaining detailed business process mappings, user requirements and system designs to modify existing business processes or
recommend enhancements to the existing systems. Duties will include research industry related best practices and benchmarks to innovate new
processes and strategies. Must be able to function as liaison between Business, IT and other organizations by defining business processes and
functional requirements. Other duties include participating as a major contributor on the Oracle ERP implementation. The ERP implementation will
involve documentation of the software development lifecycle including requirements, fit-gap analysis, functional design, test planning and execution as well as end user training. WORKING TO IMPROVE: Procure to Pay; Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Fixed Assets Order to Cash; Order Management, Pricing, Billing and Accounts Receivable Financials; General Ledger, Cash Management and Financial Reporting Distribution; Warehouse Management Systems, MSC and Inventory Demand to Build;
