Requirements: Department: Information Technology Reports to: IT Services Manager Primary Purpose: To be responsible for installation, maintenance and support of Microsystems, servers and network. Responsible for Internet connectivity, provides third-level support of personal computer hardware and software within the company; technical and general Microsystems support to help desk personnel and junior support staff. Essential Functions: * Manages research, feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis on new or emerging hardware and software technology Performs the requisition and implementation of Microsystems and server hardware and software while maintaining a hardware/software inventory tracking system. * Installs and maintains new releases or upgrades of hardware, software, utilities and operating systems while ensuring company is in compliance to all license agreements for Microsystems and server software. * Manages and monitors the performance of Microsystems and server hardware/software, internet utilization and performance, SRQ's and help desk call assignments. * Analyzes training needs of Microsystems users and developing a positive working relationship with all company departments. * Creates and maintains user accounts on server while performing security functions on all Microsystems, LAN Server hardware and Internet connectivity while managing back-ups of all server data. * Manages, motivates and develops a group of highly qualified information system professionals. * Familiar with Citrix and IBM hardware platforms. Skills: Computer operations, solid technical skills with the ability to research and solve problems, good communication, documentation, and human relation skills, internet and LINUX experience a definite plus. Education Required: Associates degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering) required, four (4) year degree desired. Certification in applicable network technology at the administrator level. Experience Required: Five (5) years Microsystems hardware/software installation experience Supervision of Others: Microsystems Specialist and Junior Microsystems Specialists. * AS-400 Operator - $20.00 per Hour
A West Phoenix company seeks a candidate to fill a evening/night opening within their corporate offices immediately. To qualifiy for this position you will need to have at least two to three years of technical experience in working with the AS-400 system and strong system processing experience. Your duties will include completing company checklist items, monitoring printers, running reports and delivering to appropriate personnel, and be adept at problem solving and execute appropriate action as necessary. The shift that is available is: Evening/Nights: 2:30PM to 10:00PM Monday through Wednesday nights. Two additional nights during the week will be working the 11:00PM to 7:00AM shift. The client is more than willing to work with you and to be flexible on which of these nights you will work in order to have two uninterrupted days off per week! **The company seeks someone quite technically strong for this position who can monitor and oversee the system during the night hours. This is an excellent position within a corporate environment and hiring for the qualified candidate will be immediate!
