Workforce Management Analyst

Primary responsibilities are grouped into the following categories:
ANALYSIS OF REQUIREMENTS The Requirements Business Analyst participates on a team that is responsible for gathering the clients' existing HRIS policies, and procedures. He or she then contributes to creating the plan requirements.
ANALYSIS OF SYSTEM FUNCTIONALITY The Requirements Business Analyst uses the requirements documents to develop system-testing specifications. This requires translating functional and procedural documents into simple terms that form the foundation of system testing. The outcome is a set of system specifications that fully represent the client requirements and, the project requirements, and the plan provisions.
SYSTEM TESTING In the testing phase of the project (on an Implementation or On-Going delivery team), The Requirements Business Analyst is involved in configuration, integration, and acceptance testing. Analysts generally spends the majority of his or her time (30-40%) creating, and documenting, and executing test plans developed based on system specifications. For this, he or she creates test cases (conditions and data), performs runs system testing, and documents all final outcomes (actual vs. expected results). The Business Analyst is responsible for working with the proper team members to resolve any issues related to testing discrepancies. This documentation is used to analyze or confirm results if future discrepancies arise.
TRAINING The Business Analyst may be involved in the initial training of the Ongoing Operations Team (that supports the client engagement post-implementation) including technical resources, Service Center associates, and potentially the client contacts.
ONGOING SUPPORT - When part of an ongoing client team, the Requirements Business Analyst executes and monitors the ongoing delivery and quality of processing, troubleshoots problems that arise, and identifies ways to improve the efficiency of processing and the system. In some situations, he or she will have ongoing interaction with client contacts or other third parties involved in the maintenance of a particular HR program.
IMPLEMENTATION The Requirements Business Analyst may be involved in the initial training of the team, including technical resources, Service Center content creation, and training delivery. He or she will significantly contribute to the system configuration and integration testing and assist system analyst in developing application specifications.
SUBJECT-MATTER EXPERT The Requirements Business Analyst may act as a subject matter expert (knowledge resource) for to the team on such topics as process flows, data models, content requirements, integration with the other functional areas (e.g. conversion, interfaces and reporting), processing procedures, application on business objectives, client-specific topics, and alternatives for service delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
BA/BS preferred. A major in an analytical field is desired
10-2+ years relevant experience in delivering technology based solutions in the HR space College grad preferred.
Previous experience as a Business Analyst or previous testing experience a plus
Understanding of the software system development life-cycle (SDLC), and ability to operate effectively within SLDC
Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility
Familiar with process mapping and integration testing
Functional and technical understanding of HRMS systems (SAP, Lawson, PeopleSoft) preferred
Working knowledge of Service center operations preferred Ability to solve problems
