Vice President, Human Resources Compliance

This position facilitates compliance with applicable local, state and federal employment and labor laws.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Designing and executing the Company strategy for HR compliance.

Directing the activities of HR Compliance Managers and Specialists.

Keeping abreast of current and pending employment laws and assessing their impact on the organization's employment practices.

Recommending and reviewing changes to corporate personnel policies, procedures and training programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulation.

Participating in cross-functional company-wide initiatives and providing expertise in the areas of labor and employment law compliance.

Hiring, motivating, training and managing performance of staff.

A successful candidate will have:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related area.

7+ years of Human Resources or Legal experience, including labor and employment law compliance.

In-depth knowledge of labor and employment laws and current trends.

Outstanding analysis and evaluation skills.

Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, presentation and research skills.

Strong organizational skills with flexibility to handle multiple assignments.

Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and HR computer systems (Access, Excel, Word, PeopleSoft, and other related applications).

The ideal candidate may also possess:

Advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, Law or related area preferred.
