The technical analyst is responsible for analyzing functional/business requirements and creating technical/system specifications and designs. This position will also play a significant role in testing, debugging, evaluating, and documenting both enhancement and fixes for the Horizon Meds Manager product. This position also requires interfacing with product managers, functional and technical analysts. The duties involve (but not limited to) analysis and design, peer reviews and design reviews and beta site/production support for applications. The technical analyst will also conduct issue analysis sessions with internal and external stakeholders and customers and communicating desired resolution strategies with functional and technical roles within the organization. He or she must demonstrate flexibility for work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines.Required Skills
. Excellent analytical and communication skills
. JAD sessions
. Writing technical design documents (1+ years)
. Experience with USE CASE (4+ years)
. Experience working with functional analyst, product managers and architects (4+ years)
. Database design experience (4+ years)--Oracle
. Experience designing GUI interfaces on windows platform
. Experience working with functional and technical analyst to review and discuss functional and technical requirements
. Understanding and experience with RUP (rational unified process)
VC++ or C++ or C# or JavaDesirable Skills
. Experience with Erwin modeler/navigator.
. Healthcare domain knowledge/experience (preferably pharmacy related)
. Bachelors degree in computer science/electrical engineering/mathematics/information science Position Description

Partners with users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.Minimum Requirements

4+ years experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions and deployment of business requirements to information systems.Education
