Systems Analyst
The Systems Analyst is responsible for coordinating the setup process of the technology platform for a client teams service aligned administration system. This can take the form of a new client implementation, an extension of services for a client, or an enhancement of current services.
The specific tasks for the Systems Analyst fall into the following categories:
System Development
Analysis of System Functionality: The Systems Analyst works with the Lead Systems Analyst to complete detailed analysis on service modules and units to ensure consistency with client requirements. He or she may work with other client team members to perform cost/benefit analysis to estimate time and costs.
Implementation and System Construction: The Systems Analyst coordinates system programming and testing with the Setup Configuration Analysts and Programmer Analysts. He or she monitors the progress of module and unit completion and communicates team schedule and status information to the Benefits Implementation Manager, Systems Project Manager, and Lead Systems Analyst as appropriate. He or she is a subject matter expert for their aligned service and provides guidance to resolve detailed system-related issues. He or she monitors outstanding programming issues until they are resolved. He or she attends requirements review meetings, analysis walk-trough meetings, and system hand-off meetings.
The Systems Analyst is responsible for creating comprehensive test plans (unit, integration, acceptance, and regression) to test the overall system functionality based on client requirements. He or she may work with Setup Configuration Analysts to create detailed unit test plan for non-high risk functionality per Gap Analysis. He or she reviews test plans with team members incorporating recommendations and changes into the plan. He or she coordinates the regression testing process. He or she manages the test databases (data and database size) and maintains the master list of test conditions for regression testing.
Conversion/Interface Development Analysis: The Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing/coordinating the batch and TBA event processes and identifies any conversion event tailoring required for data processing. He or she maps the conversion data fields and coordinates development of conversion programs with the conversion data assistance team. He or she works with the Systems Project Manager to perform detailed file layout analysis if the file is not in the TBA library of defined interface layouts. He or she may work with third parties to identify and report data issues and manage data cleanup by the source system. The Systems Analyst will also work with the Systems Project Manager and Lead Systems Analyst to ensure the understanding of how data that will be loaded will impact general processing.
Transition to Ongoing
The Systems Analyst is responsible for coordinating regression testing and responding to any issues found. For conventional activities, he or she works with Systems Project Manager to coordinate and execute the conversion process, including receipt of data, conversion execution, edit resolution, and batch processing for events in transition. He or she provides workflow support to ensure their resolution, completion, and process improvement for elimination.
Training and Coaching
Training and coaching: The Systems Analyst is a primary subject matter expert for Setup Configuration Analysts and coaches team members technically about systems, standard service delivery models, and SDLC.

REQUIREMENTS
Technical Knowledge Required:
