Staff Trainer

Located on the University of Maryland at Baltimore campus, near Camden Yards and Harbor attractions, University Physicians, Inc. (UPI) coordinates and supports the clinical activities of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. We employ over 900 non-physician staff who support the clinical practices of our faculty.We offer a total compensation package including competitive base salary, employer paid pension, 403(b), comprehensive health and welfare benefits, tuition reimbursement, and commuter assistance.Currently we are seeking a Staff Trainer to train new and current employees on front end patient operations and insurance registration.
Duties will include: creating training materials designing and instructing training programs and information sessions assessing the need for training and development establishing clear and measurable learning objectives for training programs developing content outlines and instructional strategies appropriate to learning objectives conducting skill development training courses and other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified applicants will possess: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, or related field from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education/medical office experience may be substituted minimum two years of patient registration and staff training experience excellent written and oral communication skills PC proficiency and excellent teamwork skills working knowledge of IDX or similar computerized billing system preferred.Please apply online at www.upi.umaryland.edu
