Primary responsibility is to formulate and recommend research and development programs that will meet business needs. Recommends budgets and staffing levels required to successfully implement programs. Provides direct management and guidance to R&D programs executed by the Texas R&D group. Through successful completion of recommended programs assures that the products and processes of the Aesthetics business area establish and maintain competitiveness.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors degree in science or engineering and at least five years experience in the medical device industry.
• At least two years of management experience in R&D or Engineering. Must have an established record of successful management of research and development activities.
• Must have knowledge of key regulations and standards such as: QSR, MDD, ISO 13485:2003 and CMDR
