Sr. Human Resources Generalist

The Default Information Services division of First American Corporation is looking for an HR professional with whom to partner. First American needs someone who has advanced knowledge of all the HR disciplines and has a proven track record of strategic planning, not only from a human capital viewpoint, but also from a sound business perspective.The Senior Generalist will plan, conduct and coordinate the development and administration of human resources programs in functions such as employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations and related areas. Conduct studies to determine feasibility, costs, benefits and potential human resources campaigns, development of compensation plans, coordination of training programs, analysis and recommendations for benefit program changes, preparation and administration of EEO and Affirmative Action programs and tasks of similar complexity. In addition, this person will be responsible for supervising a team of human resources professionals.Qualifications
Successful candidate must have Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. SPHR certification preferred. Must have 5-8 years of generalist experience including support of multiple organizations and/or business units. Previous supervisory experience is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated strong judgment skills and professionalism, demonstrated abilities as a creative problem-solver, and very strong project management, prioritization and change agent skills. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills required.The First American Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
