We also operate in Canada and 11 European countries with our international headquarters in The Netherlands.Effectively monitor and analyze the results and financials of company benefits and related policies and procedures for the field, field support centers and Corporate. Assist in the administration of Randstad's benefits programs, insuring that policies and procedures are applied consistently and within legal guidelines. Serve as subject matter expert on provisions of all benefits plans. Responsible for the benefits billing/invoicing process and daily administration of FMLA, paid time off and disability plans.Position Accountabilities
The following are essential job accountabilities:
Perform regular analysis of existing benefit programs to ensure correct reporting and timely measurements of financials.
Prepare all self-bills, process monthly invoices, and resolve vendor payment issues.
Implement and perform regular analysis and monitor processes to ensure company benefit policies and procedures are implemented successfully and are adhered to.
Administer FMLA and STD/LTD programs including coordination with outsourced vendor, disability claims filing, paid leave calculations to payroll, and employee interaction.
Manage the integration of time off benefits with STD/LTD programs and workers compensation to identify gaps in offerings or problem areas. Generate management reports on PTO usage and accruals.
Investigate and resolve complaints and benefit issues escalated from benefits hotline.
Address individual benefit situations in a timely, client friendly manner to ensure that the clients' expectations are met and are within benefit policies and procedures.
Coordinate administration of 401k plan with outside vendor and reconcile contribution reports and wire transfers.
Monitor understanding of benefit programs and policies, assess the actual and required level of communication and suggest strategies and courses of action that will improve effectiveness of communication.
Develop and maintain benefit communications and other benefit documents on the intranet and write benefit articles for weekly employee e-newsletter.
Be an accessible source of information and provide the organization assistance with the implementation of benefit programs, policies, procedures and forms.
Act as lead trainer on employee benefits for newly eligible employees and new managers.
Ensure compliance with HIPPA regulations and provide training to HR/Benefits staff and branch management.

Experience as subject matter expert (SME) on provisions of health and welfare, FMLA leave, state disability and defined contribution/401k benefit plans, including legal and regulatory compliance knowledge.
Ability to lead and educate employees through effective orientation presentations
Advanced Excel spreadsheet proficiencyMinimum Education
Four year undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent benefits related experienceMinimum Experience
5 plus years experience in Benefits Administration, including 2 years in Benefits Analysis.
Accurate understanding of Federal and State regulations and laws governing Employee Benefits.Preferred Field-of-Expertise
