Senior Analyst HR Compensation

Philip Morris USA, a leading manufacturer and marketer of consumer products made for adults, seeks an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to join us at our Human Resource Department in Richmond, VA. This role reports to the Director Compensation and is responsible for leading key projects across the function.A successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn a base salary in the $80,000 - $100,000+ range along with annual incentive opportunities. Actual salary based on relevant job experience and work history.
Primary Accountabilities Include:

Lead the communication and implementation of annual compensation programs (e.g. merit program, incentive programs, equity program)

Manage the annual competitive analysis process (e.g. survey strategy, survey participation, data analysis, executive presentation)

Manage departmental projects related to compliance with Federal and State wage related regulations (e.g. FLSA reviews, OFCCP compensation reviews)

Assess impact/effectiveness of current plans and develop design recommendations

Conduct research on prevalent HR and compensation practices to recommend alternative strategies and approaches

Provide support for potential M&A related compensation program transition

Act as a technical resource to other members of the compensation department

Lead and/or participate in other projects as definedQualifications
Skill / Knowledge Requirements:

Comprehensive knowledge and experience in compensation principles and practices including salary administration, job evaluation methodologies, and variable pay design

Experience with job assessment and various tools and sources for collecting market data

Excellent project management and leadership skills with proven ability to share information and lead the work of others on a project basis

Experience in applying complex mathematical and/or statistical methodologies for data compilation and analysis; high level of attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills and high level of professionalism

Strong written communication and presentation skills

Demonstrated ability to handle highest level of confidential information and interact with all levels of management

Ability to regularly prioritize work and adjust to changes often within strict timeframes

Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Access preferred

Desire to broaden responsibilities in the future (people management related and/or broader Human Resources related)

Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of relevant experienceBenefits
