Regional HR Manager

We have a unique and fantastic opportunity for a strong Regional HR leader to join a highly effective HR team. This position will be located in Lake Forest corporate office. The Regional Human Resources Manager (RHRM) is responsible for developing and implementing a regional HR Plan for their regional markets located across the United States. The RHRM is a key business partner to the Sales organization. This role is responsible for creating, aligning and executing plans and programs that drive highly effective human capital within region while ensuring HR excellence. The RHRM is responsible for facilitating and building talent, effective employee relations, leadership staffing, performance management, leadership development, and compensation strategies. It is vital that HR practices and programs created and executed within the region directly drives the performance and development of talent while building a culture of commitment and opportunity.

o Work with business partners to align human resources strategy and programs with the business strategy that drives sales growth and customer service

o Proven ability to work independently and within a team, establishing a strong network and relationships throughout a highly matrixed organization.

o Assess regional needs on an ongoing basis and facilitate or develop regional programs, which result in improved human performance and depth of talent

o Provide expertise in areas of human capital such as employee relations and commitment, performance management, talent acquisition, change management, leadership development and diversity.

o With the business partners, ensure change management rigor throughout key performance initiatives

o Manage employee relations practices necessary to maintaining a positive employee-employer relationship and promoting a high level of employee commitment.

o BA, BS required, a Masters is preferable

o Five to seven + years progressive human resources leadership experience with strong background in employment practices, organization development, leadership development talent assessment, diversity.

o A demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships. Strong interpersonal communication, persuasion and creative problem solving skills are required. Possess strong assessment and decision making skills; proven ability to influence and build relationships both within the organization and with external sources; and is a persuasive communicator in on-on-one, small group, or large group settings.

o Ability to work with a diverse workforce and cross-functional to build strong internal partner relations.

o 40% travel time, sometimes with little or no advance notice.
