Recruitment and Selection Manager
Vanguard, one of the world's largest investment management companies, seeks an experienced Recruitment and Selection Manager to oversee corporate-wide recruiting and hiring functions, activities, and initiatives. This position supports a team of recruiters and administrative staff. The manager will work closely with internal business units to ensure successful client/candidate matches as well as be responsible for providing quality service in the execution of employment policies, practices, programs, and staffing.
You'll partner with internal hiring departments during the recruitment process, ensuring that a high-quality candidate pool is developed, and that the top candidates are hired. You'll anticipate problems and provide sound solutions that support HR policies and Vanguard's mission. You'll also partner with a variety of HR managers to enhance the employment function and to create strategic alliances that better serve your clients.
In your management role, you will set measurable goals and objectives for your team based on Vanguard metrics, principles, and methodologies. You will monitor client satisfaction with the recruitment process and continually seek to raise standards and increase the overall quality of recruitment activities. You also will work continuously to improve workflows, processes, and operational efficiencies. You will analyze department statistics and prepare management reports on hiring activities.
You'll be expected to establish trusting client relationships by advising your clients on market trends, consulting throughout the hiring process, as well as interviewing and assessing talent to assist in the final selection process.
On behalf of your team you will be responsible for all HR-related functions, including hiring, setting standards, evaluating performance, and providing training and guidance. You will lead/participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree a plus.
- At least five years of leadership experience. Prior experience leading a recruitment function preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and to manage multiple and diverse responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, team-building, organizational and client-relationship skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
