We are experiencing growth in the Houston, TX area and have an immediate opening for a full-time PUBLIC BENEFITS ADVOCATE who will provide assistance through the maze of public benefits programs.
MASH Advocates assist patients with applications, interviews, appointments, hearings, and all other necessary steps to obtain certification for medical coverage.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicant Requirements:
Experience with obtaining eligibility for healthcare clients in a health care, hospital and or government setting desired.Motivated individual who desires to make a difference in others lives by working directly with clients and multiple government agenciesExperienced with the disability claims process as a Social Security claims rep, DDS or DHS eligibility worker desiredStrong Communication skills required, both orally and in writingDedicated to working with people of various educational and socioeconomic backgroundsSkilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities with demonstrated experience in case management to include some medical knowledgeMust be able to interpret and define an extensive variety of problems, collect data, document the facts, and draw valid conclusionsMust be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office productsBilingual (Spanish/English) - a plusReliable transportation is required
