Project Manger II

Department: Human ResourcesPosition PurposeResponsible for the management and delivery of successful projects including planning, executing, monitoring and completion of major business initiatives. Drives product release strategy by working with marketing, business development, application development and operations units to scope and shape business initiatives, develop requirements documentation, plan projects and manage the subsequent execution of these plans. Translate user testing and customer support feedback into feature/function requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director, Program Management
Principle Accountabilities1.Manage an overall project schedule one to three projects simultaneously.2.Build relationships with marketing, business development, technology and business unit managers to understand customer and market requirements and environments.3.Develop and publish product requirements for existing and new products including detailed feature descriptions and customer usage scenarios.4.Create and manage detailed project timelines to ensure timely and successful project releases.5.Work with engineering team to define product release strategy and corresponding product deliverables. Drive projects from initial concept through implementation.6.Attend Functional Specifications reviews and provide detailed feedback on customer expectations.7.During the product development process, act as a subject matter expert to engineering as questions and deployment details are needed.8.Work with marketing team on product introductions and launches.9.Work with training department on production introductions and launches.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManage business analysts work flow for specific projects.Experience / Training / Education:Bachelor’s Degree
6+ years of Analysis & Project Management Experience
4+ years with UML documentation
4+ years of experience with Online Technology projects
Experience with Technology Product Design and Implementation
Experienced at Developing Requirements for Large System Integration Projects
Recent & relevant project experience in Mortgage Industry RequiredKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:Ability to implement and manage Process Oriented Methodologies
Ability to work under pressure of multiple projects and deadlines
Ability and desire to work in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Computer skills: MS Project, basic MS Word, intermediate MS Excel, intermediate to advanced MS Outlook.
Knowledgeable at Software Development Life Cycle Implementation
Skilled at Organizing and Communicating Complex Concepts
Skilled at Issue Identification and Resolution
Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure of multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to interpret and apply required policies and procedures
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedure within Program Management field
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to gather unrefined business requirements from multiple sources and formulate and deliver a solution in a timely manner
