Product Support I

Our services include: a full suite of human resource administrative services; integrated securities transaction processing and investor communications services for the financial services industry; and computing solutions for auto and truck dealers and vehicle manufacturers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides ongoing support and technical assistance to a Regional client base, ADP associates, and third party consultants, regarding product capabilities and product problems utilizing basic product training and knowledge of payroll, HR, networks, programming and relational database concepts.
2. Supports use of Enterprise and Payforce and related software on the client workstations and file servers in a client server environment.
3. Receives general supervision, works within established standards.
4. Competent in most aspects of issue or task management.
5. Responsiveness to requests is critical.
6. Errors may have direct client impact.
7. Client retention may be impacted and data integrity/payroll accuracy doubted.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Computer Science or equivalent education and experience required
2. Experience: 1 to 3 years supporting data processing systems with resultant knowledge and understanding of client needs. Experience supporting Windows based PC applications in a LAN or internet environment. Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex client/server and relational database applications along with 4GL report writers desired. Experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode and SQL/SQR query language a plus.
Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting PC/Windows based desktop systems. Experience with Oracle, and Windows desired.
3. General Skills: Must have a demonstrated computer literacy and ability to prioritize tasks/schedules Analytical problem solving ability and excellent oral and written communication skills required. Ability to work under pressure of time constraints and to prioritize assignments as necessary. Analytical/problem solving ability essential. Successful completion of all product training courses required.
