Personnel Manager

THE POSITION
The Personnel Manager will lead and oversee the Personnel Department, reporting directly to the President, coordinating with upper management and directly supervising 10 employees including Personnel Coordinators and Warehouse staff. Personnel Manager is directly in charge of staffing field operations for all Company projects nationwide, including:
• Maintenance of the Temporary Labor Force Pool
• Ensuring that all applicants in the pool have proper certifications
• Maintainance of performance data on all temporaries to ensure retention of quality personnel
• Ensuring that safety is emphasized as an expectation and condition of employment
• Ensuring that all actions are in compliance with company standards and policies
• Overseeing and coordinating the hiring process between field offices to ensure consistent application of company policies and practices
• Maintainance and update as required the policies and procedures that affect personnel company-wide ( travel, per-diems, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS
• 5 years of previous HR experience concentrating on staffing industrial maintenance work
• Bachelor's degree in a HR, Business or related area
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven focus on HR policy development/maintenance and legal compliance
