On-Site Coordinator
Job Summary: The On-Site (TEAM) Coordinator works on the customer's premises as the staffing and management support for all Volt temporary employees on assignment at that customer location. Responsible for direct management of on-site temporary employees including recruiting of new employeesDuties and Responsibilities:
Represent Volt and the customer in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
Obtain/assist in the completion of job descriptions, salary ranges, performance reviews and salary increases.
Request and continually update in writing, information from customer on specific policies and procedures that will impact our program such as maximum length of assignment, dress codes, security issues, etc.
Meet with using managers and potential users on a regular basis to monitor quality, assess upcoming needs, current service level, new or changing issues in the department, etc.
Design creative solutions to meeting customer challenges.
Address all employee relations issues as well as contingent workforce questions/concerns.
Documentation and record keeping of all personnel issues.
Keep Volt offices apprised of new or changing requirements in writing.
Complete paperwork required to set up both payroll service and Volt recruited employees.
Check in, conduct orientation, including security/safety procedures and escort all contingent workforce personnel to their work stations on their first day of assignment.
Collect all timecards for employees on Volt's payroll and deliver to Volt in time for processing.
Develop programs to recognize individual or team efforts and to enhance morale.
Consistently conduct safety observations to ensure compliance with guidelines as well as correcting or informing customer when safety hazard is observed or reported.
Counsel employees on issues including, but not limited to, performance, attitude inappropriate dress, language, attendance, policies, etc.
Provide various departments of customer with reports per their request.
Communicate all information to branches, back-up services and/or subcontractors on a timely basis.
Facilitate group meetings of all contingent workforce personnel to inform, train, reiterate existing policy, etc.
Provide training as determined with the customer.
Provide customer with reports and information in a timely manner.
Complete timely data entry of required data into Volt's automated systems. Maintain consistency and integrity of data.
Complete special projects as assigned.Working Environment:

Qualifications:
Working knowledge of applicable software's utilized at the customer location.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in a staffing environment.
Excellent organizational skills. Detail oriented.
Ability to prioritize duties and work well with deadlines.
Ability to accomplish multiple tasks.
Previous Human Resources experience
Understanding of California Labor LawsKnowledge Of:
Software or other special skills required
Microsoft Windows products including:
Word
Excel
Power PointTraining Requirements:
Applicable software training (on the job and classroom)
Applicable policies, procedures and work instructions.
