Position:Manager of Employee Benefits ServicesJob Code:8930BRPosition Summary:
•Manage administration of health, welfare, stock purchase, retirement plans and other employee benefit programs
•Participate in strategy planning, benefits design, implementation, and communication of employee benefit plans.
•Ensure administrative compliance with numerous federal and regulatory requirements relative to employee benefit plans.
•Responsible for supervision and career development of the following individuals: Supervisor, Caremark Benefits Center, Benefits Analyst, and Benefits Specialist.
•With the Supervisor's support, ensure an effective and efficient team-oriented Benefits Center that would handle benefits inquiries with timely and accurate issue resolution.
•Manage relationships with vendors, consultants, legal counsel, internal and external clients to ensure efficient plan administration.
•Research, design, estimate or analyze costs, recommend, and implement benefits plan enhancements/changes.
•Develop and implement plan administration policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, increase efficiency, and achieve cost effectiveness.
•Communicate with, support, and work as a team with the HR organization in relation to joint projects, initiatives, or issuesJob Requirements
Qualifications:
•5 + years of employee benefits experience in planning and administration.
•Previous supervisory/management experienced required.
•Proficiency with basic computer skills, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•Experience with PeopleSoft desirable.
•Must have the following skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Problem solving, Analytical, Organizational, Interpersonal, Project management, Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment, Function independently with minimal supervision, and Initiative and judgmentEducation:•Minimum of Associates' Degree required.
•Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Finance, or other related fields.
•CEBS or similar certifications desirable.Experience:
•5+ years of employee benefits experience in planning and administration.
•In-depth knowledge of benefits plans required.
•Previous management/supervisory experience required.
