Now seeking Manager, Human Resources

Our client, an established, growing technologies company, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager

This position will report to the Director of Human Resources and will be responsible for providing dynamic human resource leadership and support services to assigned business units. The scope of this position’s responsibility covers all corporate support functions including finance and accounting,information systems, corporate development, investor relations, and legal services.

The incumbent will interact on a regular basis with senior level executives, mid level department managers and associates throughout the assigned business groups; and with peer HR team members as well as a wide range of external resources including job applicants and outside vendors. Specific responsibilities include:
- Talent Management
– identifying, developing, and retaining High Potential and
Successor candidates to meet future talent requirements.
- Organizational Development – identifying and addressing organizational barriers to delivering strategic business initiatives; revising organizational structure and resources allocations as necessary, to support the achievement of strategic business goals.
- Performance Management
– Achieving productivity gains through ongoing performance management, including coaching, counseling, training, and, where
appropriate, disciplinary action and termination; ensuring the timely and effective establishment and evaluation of individual performance objectives.
- Reward & Recognition Systems – working closely with client groups to review,coordinate, and submit timely and effective merit pay recommendations, sales incentive compensation plan designs and administration, management bonus plan
participation and awards, etc.
- Associate Relations
- Working closely with client groups to maximize associate engagement and retention; developing and maintaining a positive
associate relations atmosphere; minimizing legal claims.
- Associate Communications, developing and implementing appropriate two-way channels of communications (both formal and informal) to keep managers and associates informed on important business matters.
- Minimal travel required
REQUIREMENTS
– B.S. or B.A. in Business Management, Human Resources Management, Psychology,or other related discipline required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of ten years of progressive human resources leadership experience with responsibility for partnering with and servicing multiple functional groups
including technical engineering and manufacturing operations.
- Strong business acumen / orientation; demonstrated ability to quickly establish professional credibility and effective working relationships; excellent coaching, counseling, and consultative skills; excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills; strong analytical and problem solving skills; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to effectively manage multiple priorities; broad technical knowledge and application (e.g. - FLSA, ADA, FMLA, Workman’s Comp, etc).
- Strong client service orientation; passion to contribute / make a difference; results oriented / driven to succeed; an effective team leader and team player; open and direct communication style with sensitivity to the needs of others.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal daily guidance or direction; proven ability to successfully address and resolve complex human resources issues and projects without detailed instruction; open to future promotional opportunities.
