Manager / Director Human Resources

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this newly created position serves as a key business partner for Triosyn Corp and Triosyn Research business units providing a combination of both strategic and tactical HR services and support. This role will support operations in Williston, VT and Mirabel, QC. Key Duties & Responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain Human Resources programs including employee relations, recruiting, compensation, training and development, performance management, compliance and policy development. Facilitate open communication with staff and management. Serves as ky business partner providing counsel and support to employees and managers. Develops, communicates and interprets policy in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Consult with management on organization and employee effectiveness. Provide general information, day-to-day guidance, coaching and counseling support. Work with managers and employees on performance and/or conflict matters. Develop support programs as appropriate. Support and facilitate change management activities in the organization and assist in ensuring that business strategy, systems, skills, staff, structure, style and values are aligned. Provides appropriate solutions to meet the human resources needs that develop from the business activities of the organization. Assists in developing communications plans. Responds to and investigates employee relations issues. Conducts exit interviews. Analyzes trends and recommends corrective actions. Actively engaged in the functional strategic decisions involving the efficient use of human resources. Participates in appropriate business meetings and contributes to the strategic and tactical planning process of the organization. Participates in all aspects of compensation program development and deployment; ensures competitive salary levels necessary to attract and retain qualified staff. Administers AAP/EEO Compliance and coordinates annual plan preparation. Drives recruitment process, job postings & employment offers. Develops and conducts HR related training programs for employees and managers on subject matter relating to performance management, sexual harassment, interviewing skills, management skills, independent contractors, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements BS Degree combined with 5-8 progressive HR generalist experience. PHR / SPHR certification desirable. Ability to travel up to 25% Key Competencies Communication Skills - Bi-Lingual desirable. (English & French) Project management & implementation skills Organizational skills Conflict Management skills Coaching & Facilitation Analytical capability Action Orientation / Initiative Business Acumen HR Technical Knowledge
