Manager, Compensation and Benefits
You’ll Make A Major Impact…in this exciting, fast paced position at Rush North Shore Medical Center (RNSMC) one of the Chicago area’s most highly regarded acute care teaching facilities. Conveniently located in north suburban Skokie, we have been recognized by US News & World Report as one of the nation’s top hospitals for cardiology and heart surgery!This working hands-on manager will manage the design, implementation, and administration of all compensation and benefits programs of RNSMC. The selected candidate will be responsible to evaluate programs through research, surveys, and analysis of trends to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. In addition, they will manage specialists in compensation and benefits. Acting as an advisor to the organization, possesses solid understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and theories.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational:
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required. CCP, CBP, or CEBS certification highly desired. Healthcare industry experience preferred.Previous Work Experience:
A minimum of 7 years progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or a combination of the two. Prior supervisory experience required.Specific Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of ERISA and FLSA legislation. Strong exposure to PC based, network and mainframe applications including: payroll systems, report writers, spreadsheets, relational databases, and graphics.
