MANAGER OF EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

This 2nd largest provider of private, for-profit, post-secondary education operating over 80 campuses throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Dubai, is leading these Business, Technology, Design, Culinary and Health Education institutions to strong futures.
An opportunity currently exists at our San Francisco location.
In this key role, you will manage a proactive employee relations climate. Providing, advice and guidance to management regarding potential issues related to sustaining a positive union free environment. You will develop processes and systems designed to monitor employee morale and ethical behavior that ensure compliance with all employee policies and procedures. Furthermore, supporting and fostering a respectful environment in which listening and collaborating with employees in critical. Additionally, you will partner with the Director of HR in overseeing the corrective action processes that ensure an ethical, fair, and consistent management approach at the school.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, HR or related field Masters degree desirable), 8-10 years of experience in an Employee Relations position requiring significant experience maintaining union-free status, skilled in conflict resolution, able to act as a mediator or facilitator, and solid knowledge of HR and labor laws. The successful candidate will possess outstanding influencing and interpersonal skills, proven success building credibility and inspiring confidence at all levels of the organization, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
