Incentive Compensation Manager (# 8028)

Basic Function of PositionDevelops and manages administration of incentive compensation plans and cash and non-cash contests for all of Discover’s account managers in the Cardmember Services Division (CSD). Maintains appropriate communication with upper-level management and the field on an ongoing basis. Ensures cohesive plans are in place and continually monitor compensation models or overall outcomes. Develops, implements, and manages appropriate processes and procedures to achieve these objectives and implements a system or reporting compensation measurement. Develops and supports the budgeting and accrual forecasting process for all variable compensation programs.
Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop innovative incentive compensation plans and cash and non-cash contests for all of Discover’s account managers in CSD.
Monitor compensation models or overall outcomes.
Implement system of reporting compensation measurement, including increased customer and account manager satisfaction.
Develop and support the budgeting and accrual forecasting process for all variable compensation programs.
Complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s Degree5-7 years experienceKnowledge of word processing and spreadsheet
DESIRED SKILLS:
Preferred RequirementsMaster’s Degree8-10 years experience
