Implementation Manager - Mercer HR Services US

An Implementation Manager manages the successful implementation and ongoing support of benefits administration systems for clients. This includes directing the technical implementation team for outsourcing and/or co-sourcing cases. To fulfill this role, the implementation manager will:

Develop implementation plans, budgets, and work schedules, and manage scope and staffing needs Serve as the primary technical resource for clients for co-sourcing cases, and clients and the outsourcing client manger for outsourcing cases during implementation Obtain resource allocations for implementation project work needed by the Mercer team, by clients, and by other vendors involved Oversee the development of Scope of Services and Requirements Definition documents as they relate to the administration system Manage the implementation team's day-to-day work: resolve priorities, resources and conflicts, and reprioritize issues as needed to meet time commitments Work directly with client or through the outsourcing client manager to communicate project status and resolve issues related to project status and deliverables Identify opportunities to expand Mercer's business Prepare and oversee the implementation billing process.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred Three or more years' experience in defined benefit, defined contribution, and/or health and group administration Three or more years' project management experience Two or more years' experience with systems implementation Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with external clients and internal team members at all levels within the organizations Excellent project and people management skills Excellent organization, planning and time management skills Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Project (or a similar project management tool) and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite preferred.
