The Corporate Human Resources Department, located in Pleasanton, CA, has an opening for a Regional Human Resources Representative II to support Operations Clients (Supply Plants, Distribution, and Corporate Brands) located in Denver, CO.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Regional responsibility primarily for greater Colorado and Arizona areas (may include some occasional support for other locations such as Kansas, Missouri, Texas and Illinois)
Business partner with Corporate HR, Divisions and Supply, Distribution and Corporate Brands
Coordinate all pre-employment screening procedures for distribution and supply positions
Management of all human resources related issues including HR/payroll, recruiting assistance, employee relations, benefits, and new hire/transfer orientation
Provide compensation-related and HR support as needed to Managers, Directors and VPs
Monitor and manage all issues that relate to Human Resources including job postings, diversity goals, complaints and charges
Ensure compliance with state and federal law, company policies, procedures and practices
Counsel/develop customers in areas of performance management and Human Resource Planning
Cultivate a positive, engaging and innovative work environment by providing support to multiple sites
Assist with reports and special projects; participate on teams
Conduct training workshops on various HR related topics and facilitate meetings
Travel: 25-30 %
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: The following are preferred or desired unless specifically stated:
BA or BS degree in business, human resources, or related field
5+ years generalist human resources experience including behavioral interviewing, employment, training, employee relations, diversity, management/organizational development, risk management and loss control
Able to work independently and a strong team player, with superior customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to partner within all levels of the organization
Strong interpersonal skills with outstanding detail orientation and follow through skills
Sense of urgency and business orientation with a high degree of initiative and flexibility
Able to think strategically and conceptually while managing execution and details
Act with a high degree of honesty, integrity, set challenging objectives and meet commitments
Strong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize objectives
Proficient computer skills including PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office software
Bilingual Spanish/English skills
