Human Resources ProfessionalsInsureOne, a division of the Affirmative Insurance Holdings’ family of companies, is continually looking for quality individuals with Human Resources experience. Positions range from administrative support to regional management opportunities. Candidates with varying levels of experience who are looking for a career in Human Resources, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment should send resume.Our facility is currently located in Bedford Park, but will be relocated to Burr Ridge in December.Responsibilities include:
•Partner with department managers to assess staffing needs, recommend/implement the most effective recruitment strategy using sources including: internet, ads, schools, and job fairs.•Interview candidates & make hiring recommendations: screen resumes, schedule/conduct interviews, administer pre-employment assessments, initiate credit/criminal & reference checks, track/communicate applicant status w/manager, & extend offers.•Be a business partner to the management team on topics including employee issues, performance management & employee morale.•Analyze employee turnover & identify strategies to increase employee morale & retention.
•Conduct quarterly retention meetings, exit interviews, 90 day interviews, and any other meetings as required
•Answer verbal and written inquiries from internal & external customers in a timely manner.•Complete quarterly retention reports, weekly status reports, and other reports as required.•Other responsibilities may include benefits administration, on-boarding, training, HRIS system.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:•College degree or equivalent related work experience
•Ability to work with confidential information
•Excellent organizational & communication skills•Strong computer skills (Word, Excel)•Self-direction•Ability to work professionally w/all levels of organization in a fast-paced department•Knowledge of employment laws preferred
•Interviewing and recruitment experience preferred
