Responsible for heading this Customer Care Call Center's Human Resources activities within a fast paced and complex workforce segment supporting more than 500 employees. Focus on employee relations, performance management, and consulting with center management on general employee issues. Oversees coordination of compensation, benefits, training, recruiting and other Human Resources activities for assigned center. Responsible for strategic alignment of essential HR functions with the business and culture of Sprint Nextel Corporation.
job requirements Four year degree ( or appropriate substitution) plus 7-10 years of progressively advancing HR experience, 5 of which in an HR generalist, managerial role in a fast paced, large (500 plus) employee base environment. Advanced degree, HR certification, and recent call center experience are strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Prefer a seasoned generalist with strong experience in high volume employee relations consultation with a large non-exempt population.
